Overview

The SPC for provision of fleet asset disposal services was established following an open tender process undertaken by the Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF). The SPC offers fleet disposal services enabling the sale of government motor vehicles at public auction.

The SPC commenced on 30 August 2014 for a period of three years. The SPC has been extended for a period of two years and is now due to expire on 1 September 2019. The SPC is sole supplier arrangement with Pickles Auctions Pty Ltd.

The objective of the SPC is to maximise the net sales revenue for government vehicles at public auction.

Subject to approval by the lead department, other government owned or supported organisations such as not-for-profit, councils and other government bodies may access the SPC. Consult the category manager to confirm eligibility.

What you can buy from this SPC

The scope of the SPC covers all aspects of vehicle disposal, from vehicle collection, remediation/repair and sale to the remittance of sales revenue to Victorian Government. 

RULES OF USE: How to use this SPC

Parties using the SPC are legally required to comply with the rules of use established by the lead department for purchasing under SPC.

Mandated agencies are required to procure their vehicles via VicFleet. VicFleet finances, procures, maintains and disposes of the States’ motor vehicles on behalf of mandated departments and agencies.

How to join the SPC

The SPC is mandatory for all budget sector agencies.
