Disclosure of contracts valued $100,000 or higher

Context

Departments (and agencies where applicable) must publish the details of tenders valued at $100,000 or higher on the Contract Publishing System (CPS) within 60 days of the award of contract.

Key actions

1. Use the CPS to obtain details of:

• The types of goods and services sourced by departments.
• Whether you can tender for an existing ‘open’ contract
• The expiry date of existing contracts to find out when contracts may be re-tendered
• Contact details of the relevant contract manager for further information on when the department intends to approach the market again, whether there are any changes in the scope of what may be required, who to contact for technical advice, etc.
