Building Procurement Capability
There are a significant number of learning pathways in procurement and contract management ranging from foundation learning, vocational education and training (VET) to higher education qualifications. By accessing the national network of registered training organisations (RTOs), staff can select the training best suited to their varied role requirements and career aspirations.
Download the diagram below to see the different levels of training available and the groups of learners who are likely to access these courses. The Y axis shows training and qualifications from foundation learning up to higher education, while the X axis shows the three groups of procurement people identified-buyers, practitioners and professionals. Specific roles are plotted on the diagram to illustrate the level of training which is likely to be relevant to each group of learners.
