Scope of policies
The VGPB's policies apply to Victorian Government departments and the following administrative offices as defined in the Public Administration Act 2004:
Outer budget agencies and local government are not mandated to comply with VGPB policy. However, they are encouraged to apply best practice procurement policies and processes.
VGPB policies relates to procurement of goods and services only. They do not apply to building and construction or health related goods, services and equipment.
